JetClean is a suite of tools which makes it easy to clean and optimise your PC.

The program's Registry Cleaner can scan for and remove redundant Registry values, for instance. Another module frees up hard drive space by deleting leftover temporary files (though not as many as CCleaner, in our tests). The Shortcuts Clean section finds and deletes broken shortcuts; an Apps Clean tool clears your activity history in most browsers, as well as Windows and some applications; and a "RAM Clean" tool claims to "optimise memory usage", although we're a little more sceptical about that particular claim (Windows already does a good job of optimising RAM, and in our experience most tools claiming to make improvements actually do nothing useful).

You can run each of these tools individually, if you like. But if you're in a hurry then a better option is to launch them all via JetClean's 1-Click option; just click "Scan Now" and the program will run each module individually, detecting any problems, and a click on the Repair button will then fix them all at once.

This is already plenty of functionality for such a lightweight cleanup package, but surprisingly JetClean has even more to offer. So if you click the Tools tab then you'll find a small System Information module. An Uninstaller to help you locate and uninstall unwanted apps. A Startup Optimisation module to control your Startup programs. And a Performance Booster (essentially BlueSprig's JetBoost), which can enhance system performance by closing down unnecessary processes.

And usefully, there's even an option to generate a portable version of JetClean which you can run from a USB flash drive.

If this still isn't enough power, though, you may be interested in JetClean PRO, the commercial version of the program. This adds further tools, including an internet connection optimiser and Registry defrag option. And it's easier to automate, with an Automatic Clean option which you can have run at a scheduled time, or when your PC is idle.
