EToolz is a compact portable tool which provides easy access to a string of useful network and web tools.
The program supports classics, like Ping and Traceroute, for instance. Just choose the appropriate tab, set up the function to suit your needs (the Ping function allows you to configure settings including Count, Timeout, Bytes and Pause), click Start and check what happens.
The "Own computer" tab produces a detailed report on your local network setup, including your local IP address and DNS server, host name, and the names and MAC addresses of your various network adapters.
But unusually, the program also supports plenty of web-related tools. It can report Google's PageRank score for the domain you specify, for instance. A Whois tool tells you who owns a particular domain, the Mail-Check function tries to verify an email address, and you get additional options to display HTTP headers or connect to internet time servers.
