Web Pager Saver is a small and simple tool which makes it easy to save images of up to five web pages, and then allows you to view them from a single index file.
The process starts by clicking the "Add URLs" button, and entering the addresses you'd like to record: http://www.softwarecrew.com, http://www.downloadcrew.com or whatever they might be. (Web Page Saver can also import URLs from text or CSV files.)
Next, clicking Options allows you to define a few useful settings, in particular the output file format (you can save your chosen pages as in JPG, BMP, PNG, TIF and even PDF format).
Click Start and Web Page Saver will access each page in turn, downloading everything, rendering it and saving the page in your chosen format to the folder you specify.
And finally, if you switch to that folder and double-click "WPS Report.htm" then the program's index file will appear in your default browser. This will display your specified links in the left-hand pane, and clicking on any of these will display an image of the relevant page on the right.
Please note, Web Page Saver will ask you about registration when first launched. You can ignore this, though, and it'll run as a free version, restricting you to saving a maximum of five URLs at any one time.
Verdict:
The interface is a little basic, but otherwise Web Page Saver provides a quick and easy way to save the state of any group of web pages.
