Transwiz is a simple wizard-based tool for backing up and restoring Windows user profiles: the Documents folder, Music, Photos, Videos and more, and your Windows settings.
The package is designed to help you transfer your personal data to a new computer, but you could also use it as a straightforward profile backup tool.
Transwiz can import profiles from Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8 and Windows 10.
The program won't transfer your details across the network, instead saving them to a local ZIP file or burning the archive to CDs or DVDs.
Take the ZIP and a copy of Transwiz to the new computer and it'll unpack and restore the profile, automatically converting it to suit the new system (XP > Windows 10, say, or between 32 and 64-bit).
All this comes for free, but an $89.95 Professional version adds extra features: a command-line interface, backup/ restore for folders outside of the profile, exclude particular file types, and more.
Verdict:
An easy and reliable way to transfer your data from one computer to another.
