Email This is a free web service for sending web pages to your email address for later reading.
If you've found a link to an interesting article but don't have time to read it now, for instance, right-click it, select "Email This", and the service sends an ad-free trimmed-down version of the page to your registered email address.
If you're at a page already, tapping the "et" addressbar icon has the same effect, and there's also a Ctrl+Shift+U hotkey.
We tried Email This on a few news links and it correctly found the core text and ignored sidebars. Links were preserved and clickable, and there was a link to the original source page at the bottom of the email.
If there's an issue it was the complete lack of any images. The Email This site says they should be included, so maybe there's a problem, or perhaps it was an issue with our test sites.
Verdict:
There are no extras or bonus features here, Email This is a simple tool which sticks to its core function only: emailing the text of an article to your contact address. That keeps it lightweight, and it's certainly easy to use, though the missing images on some pages may be a problem.
