If you want to share files with others, there are a number of options available to you. You could opt to email a file to people or you could upload it to your web space. However, both of these options can be unnecessarily complex and time consuming, and this is where droplr can help.
With the program installed, you can share files by simply dragging them onto the droplr dock icon or menu bar icon. The file will be silently uploaded in the background, and once this can been done you will be provided with a shortened URL to send to others.
The shortened URL is automatically copied to the clipboard ready for pasting into an email or adding to a web site, but droplr can also be linked with your Twitter account. With a couple of clicks you can write a tweet that includes a link to any file you have uploaded to share with your followers.
Droplr includes a screen capture tool which can be used to create images ready for sharing as well as a note taking tool that can be used to share address, code snippets and other portions of text.
What's New in Version 4.5.1

- Fixes bug where contextual menu would not dismiss
Verdict:
Droplr reduces the process of uploading, linking and sharing files to a single step - a wonderfully versatile program.
