What used to be good software is now being bundled with pups. Went to upgrade to v6.1.6 and it sent BOTH my AV and Malware protection into a tizzy. I VERY RARELY if ever get false positives, so I believe that the findings by both programs were true. Steer clear of this and send a messave to AVC Labs that shady tactics like this will NOT be tolerated. IMO Download Crew should not even list this software until it is 100% malware and pup CLEAN.

This only updates to version 2.72.204.388. Weird.

Excellent piece of freeware. Quite handy and easy to use.

I waited till they had fixed glitches then I update (April 2017). Have had one occurrence of web protection not turning on after a computer reboot. That problem seems to have been fixed in an update.

Thanks, Mike! We really appreciate your efforts and review. I'm from Mirekusoft and we recently just released our latest version of Install Monitor 3. I'd love to talk more about it with you. Would you be interested in checking out the app? Please send me an email at harry.arbasa@mirekusoft.com

Am running windows 10. Installed Privazer and ran it using default settings. Spent 2 hrs getting back needed apps it got rid of, even though it created a restore point it didn't work. Stay away.

First of all, the app is called JustPark Parking Ltd. Second, it doesn't show in the Apple appstore on my iPad Mini. There's a LetParking app by Forwen. JustPark is a game.

SuperCopier didn't workout for me at all. I've been inconvenienced by several crashes/errors/data loss when transferring files. I had no choice but to do the process over again. So I would like you to take GS RichCopy 360 under consideration as it helped me allot. I found it allot better than both the software mentioned above. My friends suggested GS RichCopy 360, and for several months it has been working perfectly fine for me. You might want to give it a try if you are looking for a reliable software. Hope this helped.

ExtremeCopy didn't workout for me at all. I've been inconvenienced by several crashes/errors/data loss when transferring files. I had no choice but to do the process over again. So I would recommend you to take GS RichCopy 360 under consideration as it helped me allot. I found it allot better than the software mentioned above. Its additional features are pretty unique and are really helpful as well. My friends suggested GS RichCopy 360, and for several months it has been working perfectly fine for me. You might want to give it a try if you are looking for a robust and reliable software. Hope this helped.

This program is not freeware. When I clicked the download link I was taken to a page that wanted me to pay $4.99.

No issues whatsoever.

Core Temp is perfect for me. With a glance at my tray, I can see, in different colored numbers, my processor temp, processor load, and percentage of memory used. The size, color, and thickness of the numbers are configurable. Core Temp starts with windows, uses very little resources, always works and never crashes.

I cant get this to run? it just closes instantly...both x32 and x64

the user JINU doesn't know what he/she is on about.. they obviously only have a little experience with windows/computers. Anyone with 4Gb and 64-Bit OS will have the entire 4Gb at their disposal (except for few MB's which is reserved for hardware), I have 8Gb installed, its only with 32-Bit OS you only see 3.5-3.75Gb or less, that is a limitation of 32-Bit and why nearly all computers come with 64-bit OS these days.

There are many occasions when someone might want to use a RAMdisk.. myself for example, I dont want the browser cache using excessive writes to my 'write-limited' TLC SSD, so I use RAMdisk with 1Gb used and have installed Opera into it (so its caching and installed there), the RAMdisk is saved at shutdown and loaded at boot (but I use sleep), this also speeds up web-page load times as they are cached directly into the faster RAM, if you dont have an SSD and use an HDD then this could speed up browsing for you quite a bit.

Reviewing the inside of these batch files opens a world of batch programming tricks, really useful.
Just running it out of the box - risky.
02 February 2017, Roger
You've posted the portable version, not the installer one!
02 February 2017, Roger
Don't see the validity of author's criticisms. Batch updates/installs are dangerous. Easy way to end up with malware or adware or unwanted programs. I like this utility, control of install. Covers a lot of valuable ground.

Spotlight: Free Full Software

Paragon Backup & Recovery 16

Free Full Commercial Software

Paragon Backup & Recovery 16 is a very comprehensive backup tool with a vast array of professional backup and disk management features.

The program can back up a hard drive's master boot record, its first track, individual partitions or complete drives, for instance. It can also run file-based backups on the files and folders you specify. You can run a quick backup of your documents, music, videos, music or other media files. And there's even an E-mail backup, that will save your messages, accounts and address book (Outlook, Outlook Express and Windows Mail are supported).

You're able to run full, differential or incremental backups, the latter including only new or modified files for improved performance. A scheduler allows backup jobs to be run when you're not around. And your backup files can be saved to local, external or remote drives, FTP servers, or burned to disc.

Virtualisation support allows you to copy your entire system to a virtual drive (all the main formats are supported), ready for use in your virtualisation tool of choice.

Restoring data from backups is easy. You can selectively restore just the files and folders you need from within the program (even if they're held within a complete hard drive image). And if you purchase the program then you'll be able to create a recovery disc to restore your system drive even if Windows will no longer start (though beware, that is not possible in this trial version - don't rely on it as your main backup tool).

There are a host of useful extras, from basic hard drive partitioning tools, to an Undelete Wizard, secure drive wiping option, hard drive sector editor, and more. And there's more. You can create incremental disk images, helping to save backup time and storage space; you get the latest backup engine, for even better performance; and it supports the very latest hard drives, including AFD's and hard drives over 2TB in size.

Dropbox 32.4.23

Freeware

Modern technology enables a team to operate in different locations across your company and the world. If you’re a software developer, there’s no reason why you couldn’t pick the best programmers based in Germany, document writers from the UK, whilst your graphic artists could be based in the States.

The problem is bringing these people together. You need a system where your team or teams can share files and information, make sure that no-one overwrites someone else’s work and keep a collection of previously updated files, so you can quickly reverse back to a previous revision, if necessary. Doing this on your website requires you have the relevant versioning technology and that it will work across various operating systems. A versioning tool that works fine on Windows may not be suitable for OS X.

Dropbox is an online sharing tool that enables you to select the files you want to share and synchronise with other users, then simply upload them to the remote site. That bit is done automatically, so you don’t need to worry about having to upload the files manually. You can share folders and collaborate with other users on the files within these folders. Versioning will stop work being overwritten.

You can just use Dropbox on a personal level, too. If you own a desktop computer at home, use another at work and a laptop when you’re away from the office, simply use DropBox to synchronise your important files across each machine. You can also access your Dropbox files from the web, if you need access from a temporary host PC.

Better still, setup your software so they write preferences to your Dropbox folder, then sync these settings and preferences across your computers, enabling you to have the same setup across your desktop and laptop or PC and Mac, plus access from your smartphone.

Dropbox will limit you to 2GB of free online storage (and you can purchase more, if required) and is available for Windows, Mac and Linux.

New in the 32 series (see release notes for more):

- Regularly updated with many improvements and fixes.
