Egretlist is a to do list manager app, but it can also be viewed as an alternative front end for Evernote. Synchronisation can be performed in both directions between Evernote and Egretlist, so no matter whether you are using your iPhone, iPad or another computer to manage you lists, it can be synchronised between multiple devices.
As well as boasting all of the tagging options of Evernote, Egretlist also enables you to highlight individual notes by marking them as favourites or choosing a custom icon. Tagging is a highly versatile feature that can be used to help organise a lengthy to do list.
For events that have a specific start and end date, Egretlist can be used to add entries to your iCal calendar, eliminating the need to manually create a duplicate.
Lists that are not currently needed, but may in in future, can be stored for easy re-use by unticking them, and then just re-ticking them to re-enable them. Lists can be created from existing text files, but the process of creating new events within the app itself is also incredibly simple.
Verdict:
An elegant to do list manager that integrates tightly with Evernote for synchronised organisation on the move.
