iMacros Power Surfer is a smart Internet Explorer add-on that allows you to record and replay your web browsing activities.
You can use the program to fill in forms, for instance (even across multiple pages). It's possible to automate file uploads and downloads, or the printing or saving of the web pages you visit. And if you want to adjust what your macro is doing then an easy-to-use macro editor gives you complete control over the program.
Better still, iMacros Power Surfer doesn't only work with basic HTML pages: it's just as good as automating Java, Flash, Flex and Silverlight-based sites.
Please note, iMacros is also available in two further varieties, the Pro Edition and Scripting Edition.
The Pro version ($199) primarily adds support for additional testing options, including a command line interface and the ability to automate runs via Task Scheduler.
And the Scripting Edition ($499) is able to automate Firefox, and can be used with any programming or scripting language (you get an ActiveX component, .NET support, Windows Scripting Host support and more).
A comparison table on the iOpus site tells you more about each edition, and you can install any of these from the same download file.
Verdict:
An interesting web automation and testing tool with a host of useful configuration options
