Google's Gmail, or Google Mail depending on where you are in the world or how long you have had an account, looked set to revolutionise web based email. Countless thousands of people make use of the service and there are various tools available that will monitor your inbox and notify you when new messages arrive.
Spiffy is one such program and it has one key advantage - it can be run from a USB drive, This means that after the program has been configured, it can be run on any computer without the need for installation so you can keep up to date with your emails without having to constantly visit the Google site.
Spiffy can handle up to five individual email accounts and will display a system tray notification and a pop up as well as playing a sound when a new email is received.
