EnhanceMySe7en is an interesting system information and optimisation tool for Windows 7.

The program opens on its Information tab, which gives you a host of useful information about your PC: CPU type, speed, voltages, temperatures and more; motherboard model and memory timings; GPU model, core speeds and temperatures; fan speeds, hard drive temperature and more.

The Tools tab includes a simple Registry cleaner, a module to view and manage your Windows startup programs, and simple tools to view and control your running processes and Windows services.

The System tab has a Recent Items cleaner which can empty your Recycle Bin, temporary folders, Recent Documents list and a few other Windows and application histories, at a click. Other modules allow you to tweak your Windows security settings, and hide the Control Panel applets of your choice.

You also get a less interesting Optimizations tab, with some supposed speedups (though most will do little, if anything to optimise your PC).

And the final tab, Customisations, provides easy one-click tweaks that will help you customise your Start menu, the desktop, taskbar, Windows Media player and more.

The Pro version of the program adds many additional functions: a disk cleaner, defrag tool, hard drive and Windows Services optimisation modules, and customisation sections for IE, Icons, Folders, File Types, your Context Menu and more.
