Gomigo is a simple launcher which makes it easy to access your favourite applications, websites, documents and more.
When we installed the program it added an icon to our system tray. A click on this and we were presented with a simple pop-up menu listing Calc, Notepad, our installed browsers and Office applications - all very easy.
And clicking "CONTROL" allowed us to customise the system further. It's possible to add entries for new programs, web pages and documents, for instance. Or you might create a complete new menu - "Graphics", say - to organise a particular set of tools in one place.
Exactly how useful Gomigo might be is open to question. If you only need to launch a few applications on a regular basis then you might prefer to pin the appropriate shortcuts to the taskbar, for example. If you require something more then you could always customise the Start Menu a little.
Of course the Start Menu will be disappearing very soon, though, and there's no doubt that Gomigo is a simple and visually appealing alternative. If you'd like a new way to access your applications then it could be worth a try.
Please note, while the program is free the authors do say they will ask for "a small voluntary payment" "when more than 25 elements are used".
Verdict:
An easy-to-use application launcher which can speed access to your favourite tools
