NoteMe! is a simple text editor with some unusual extras.
The program runs from your system tray, for instance. And it can have up to 5 documents open at one time; just click the arrow buttons on the NoteMe! window to cycle between them.
Usefully, there's also support for URL highlighting. If you type www.google.com into NoteMe!, say, the program underlines the address and it becomes a clickable link.
What you don't get here is, well, anything else. You can't set your font, enable word wrapping, there's no Find dialog, no search and replace - the program makes Notepad look powerful.
It's also slightly annoying that such a simple tool needs to be installed. It should probably be portable.
Still, if you just want a small and simple text editor then NoteMe! could be very useful, and its ability to have several files open at once is definitely a plus.
Verdict:
NoteMe! is horribly short on editing features, but its system tray home, ability to open several files simultaneously and support for clickable URLs mean it could be useful for some.
