SavePictureAs is a portable tool which simplifies the process of saving pictures from web pages. Supported browsers include Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari, Maxthon, RockMelt, Avant, Comodo Dragon, and K-Meleon.

Once running, you can grab any image by moving your mouse cursor over it and pressing a customisable hotkey. SavePictureAs then simulates a right-click, chooses the "Save Image As" option, points the browser at your preferred folder and saves the picture with its default name.

If that file name already exists, a "Duplicates" dialog offers various options. You can choose to delete one of the pictures, add the current date and time to one name, or just enter your preferred file name.

A built-in Favourites system gives you additional control over where pictures are saved. Assign a few favourites to other folders, and clicking any of these later will change the save location.

The program is extremely configurable. You can choose a custom file name format (pic1.jpg, pic2.jpg), set a default "duplicate file name" action, adjust program colours, even select your preferred system tray icon.

As a bonus, SavePictureAs can also capture and save the entire screen, active window or a custom rectangular area.
