When using a program to keep track of tasks you need to perform, it is important that the software is as simple as possible so you don't have to spend too long getting it configured. TaskMate is just that.

The program enables you to create a simple check list of tasks - when you have completed something, tick it and it will be removed from the list. Completed tasks are moved to a hidden task pane and this can be cleared when you are sure you no longer need to refer to anything on it.

Tasks, both pending and completed can be exported to a text file for future reference. IF you want to be able to constantly keep an eye on what you need to do, TaskMate can be configured to appear on top of other open windows.

This is all that TaskMate has to offer. There is no option to configure alarms or reminders, but all of the essentials are here. The program is a basic task manager, and what it does, it does well.
