BullGuard has launched the new versions of its consumer security packages, BullGuard Antivirus and BullGuard Internet Security.

Both versions feature an improved behavioural detection engine, giving better protection against even the very latest threats.

A redesigned interface clearly displays all key tools and their current status, and ensures that every common task can be launched with a single click.

A new Messaging Centre acts as a central hub for the program, keeping you up-to-date with system events and the status of any ongoing tasks.

The online backup tool (with 5GB free storage space) has been rewritten to improve ease of use, and now allows you to recover accidentally deleted items for up to 14 days.

BullGuard Internet Security still has the same lengthy feature list as previously, of course: you get antivirus, a firewall, spam filter, vulnerability scanner, browsing protection, parental control and PC optimisation tool.

This doesn’t have to weigh you down, though; BullGuard claims the new releases have minimal impact on your system.
