Auslogics Software has updated its flagship PC maintenance and optimisation suite with the release of Auslogics BoostSpeed 6.0.
Launch the program for the first time and it now runs an immediate system scan, before displaying the results of this – disk space which can be freed, computer speed and stability interface – as “System Health” indicators in the main BoostSpeed window.
The interface has been redesigned to make it easier to access the various modules. Auslogics says: “All major tasks, such as removing junk files, defragmenting disks and repairing registry errors can be done with just a couple of mouse clicks.”
Elsewhere, the suite’s hard drive maintenance functionality in particular has been extended through three new modules.
Disk Doctor is a graphical CHKDSK, monitoring your hard drive health and helping to recover data from bad sectors.
File Recovery is an undelete tool with image and document preview options to help you find and recover your lost files.
Disk Explorer reveals which files are consuming the most space on your hard drive.
There’s the usual smaller improvements to modules throughout the suite.
And if you’ve not tried BoostSpeed before, then that really is a lot of modules: a disk defrag tool, internet optimizer, duplicate file finder, file shredder, startup manager, uninstaller, service manager, task manager and more.
Auslogics BoostSpeed 6 trial versions are available now.
