Iolo Technologies has announced the availability of iolo System Mechanic 11.7.1, the latest incarnation of its popular PC optimisation suite.

New “self-healing technology” is a highlight of this release, the company says, claiming that this “allows System Mechanic to automatically correct changes to your system that might cause it to not function”.

Enhanced security tools mean that System Mechanic 11.7.1 does a better job of protecting you from dubious browser and system scripts.
