When it was unveiled, the potential for success for Quora was questioned by many, but in a fairly short space of time, the questions and answers service has gone from strength to strength. It was only a matter of time before an iPhone app was released to make it easy to ask and answer questions via the site, and that time it now; Quora for iPhone is here.
If you have a question about anything – and we mean anything imaginable – Quora should be your first port of call. Whether you are looking to discover how many people live in China, or you have a more practical query such has how to troubleshoot an error message that has been thrown up by Windows, there is sure to be some on hand who is able to help.
There is an expanding database of previously answered questions available for you to search through, with each post neatly categorised to allow for easy searching. Should you find that no one has yet asked or answered your question, you can make a post of your own and wait for the replies to come flooding it.
Quora can also be used to share your knowledge with others, and if you feel able to answer a query that has been posted by another users, you are free to do so. This is an extremely useful service, and the existence of an iPhone app makes it all the more so. Now when you are out and about and want to find a great restaurant nearby, or want to get a little help in the pub quiz, Quora may be the place to go rather than Google.
You can find out more and download a copy of the app by paying a visit to the Quora review page.
