It’s only a few weeks since RealPlayer 14 made its first public appearance, but, Real say, “thanks to the testing and feedback of more than 50,000 beta users” the company has felt able to drop the beta tag, releasing the final version.
Little has changed from the beta, but if you didn’t try that then RealPlayer 14 is definitely worth a look.
New features this time include a smarter, more accessible media library, that automatically categorises your files in Music, Video and Picture sections.
The player can now automatically grab album art for your music files, making it much easier to browse your media collection.
There’s easy sharing of your media files with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, MySpace and Bebo.
And perhaps best of all is the direct support for iPods, smart phones, the Blackberry, digital cameras and more. RealPlayer 14 now recognises compatible USB-connected devices, displaying them in your library. Transferring media to your devices is as easy as a drag and drop, and you can even import music, photos and videos from your device, adding them to your library in just a click or two.
