If you’re tired of having to wade through numerous Control Panel screens looking for the option you want, how about making use of a quick-fire shortcut that will give you easy access to every single Control Panel option in Windows 7?
To do this, just right-click the desktop and choose New > Folder, then name it Tweak Windows.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} and hit [Enter]. You’ll see a new Tweak Windows icon appear on the desktop – double-click this and it’ll open an Explorer window listing all Control Panel options under their parent Control Panel headings, enabling you to quickly and easily tweak your system to perfection.
If you don’t want the folder cluttering up your desktop, drag it somewhere private – say My Documents, then click and drag it on to the Start button to pin it to the Start menu for easy access. You can also rename the icon to something more personal if you wish – just select it, press [F2] and make your change. Also, note this tip doesn’t work in earlier versions of Windows – it’s very much one for Windows 7 users only.
